Sunday’s are all about relaxing, taking time off, sleeping in, and doing all the lazy Sunday things, right?
HA! As much as I would love to sleep in I have 3 very early and permanent alarm clocks aka my children that if I’m not awake when they’re awake they will likely peel my eyelids open – not kidding and not funny.
So instead of worrying about how I can relax or how I can sleep in, my goal is to wear my kids out.
More like a game of who wears who out first. Then just maybe they might let me take a little afternoon siesta.
One of the things we love to do and don’t get to do enough of is take our pony Chestnut – aka ‘Chesu’ out for a ride.
The kids love him and Shahnaz always fights over riding him first and never wanting to get off.
Behzad adores him but would much rather be the one walking / leading him than riding him.
A little game of Simon-says does the trick to keep him on the saddle though.
While Shanaya is happy to just chill, watch, and pet.
When it comes to giving Chesu a bath, they are all ready to spray him with love and water – however, Chesu does not like his baths.
If he’s not roped up he would definitely run away. He does not look happy at all – no Sunday funday for you boo 🙂
