Baby teething problems? Clove oil is amazing to provide some quick relief for your little one.
Clove oil is only one of the many therapeutic essential oils that work well.
Note that it is a hot oil which means that it needs to be heavily diluted.
One drop goes a long way! For anyone under the age of 12 only use 1 drop of clove oil diluted with 2 teaspoons of a carrier oil.
Coconut oil works wonders for your teeth and most don’t mind the taste of it either.
These are perfect to pre-make and keep as a rollerball.
A 10ml roller bottle is about 2 teaspoons of oil.
Remember, clove oil isn’t only for kids with teething issues.

Make a Blend – Keep it Handy:
I normally like to keep a pre-diluted roller ball of clove oil for any of my teething little ones.
That and some ice cubes which they love to munch on. My hubs however despises it when I give the kids ice.
I think that is more of an Indian thing where they think they’ll get sick the moment they’re given something cold. Anyone else believe this?
These glass rollers are perfect for making and keeping your own blends. I love the blue.
Put a little sticker on it to label it and you’re set. Remember that some of the oils are sensitive to light so try and avoid clear glass bottles if you can. I know I still have some I just try and keep them out of the light.
I usually have at least 6 roller ball blends that I keep on hand and ready at all times.
An owie blend, a teething blend, an On Guard blend, a muscle ache blend, a tummy trouble blend, and a Breathe blend.
This usually covers most of the bases in my family. Any others I would just dilute and use as needed.
If you don’t have clove oil with you at home, here’s another blend which uses roman chamomile, lavender, and copaiba.
Each at 2 drops and then fill the rest with a carrier oil.
